The under-18s face Fulham in their next match.

Our men's under-18s were beaten 3-0 in Premier League South by Chelsea on Wednesday afternoon.

Blues forward Donnell McNeilly netted a hat-trick to put his team within three points of top of the table West Ham with two games in hand over the Irons.

The defeat for Albion on the other hand sees them sit in seventh.

“It was a harsh result,” under-18s head coach Inigo Calderon reflected. “We had a good game, not brilliant, not perfect, but good.

“We were quite good out of possession, but not enough. We had chances to score goals, but it was one of those days where everything needs to be perfect in the moment and we weren’t.

“We conceded an early goal in both halves, so that went against us. I am proud of the boys though because I could see the identity of the team despite us losing."

The result brought an end to a three game winning streak for Calderon’s team, who will be hoping to get back on track when they face West Ham on Saturday.
