Dunk will be hoping to add to his six England caps while in Germany.

Lewis Dunk has been named in England’s squad for EURO2024.

The Albion skipper was included in Gareth Southgate’s provisional 33-man party for pre-tournament friendlies against Bosnia & Herzegovina and tomorrow’s game against Iceland, and will go to Germany after the England manager cut seven players from his travelling squad.

James Maddison, Jack Grealish, Harry Maguire, Curtis Jones, Jarrad Branthwaite, Jarrell Quansah and James Trafford are the players to miss out.

Dunk is Albion’s most-capped England player with six, and could become only the third Albion men’s player to represent the Three Lions at a major tournament after Steve Foster at the World Cup in 1982 and Ben White at EURO2020.

This summer’s Euros start on Friday 14 June when hosts Germany face Scotland, with England in Group C action against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen two days later.

England face Denmark on Thursday 20 June in Frankfurt before concluding the group stages in Cologne against Slovenia on 25 June.
