Albion have opened their Premier League season four times at the Amex.

The Euros will be in full swing from tomorrow, but there’s an important date for all Albion fans coming up with the release of the 2024/25 Premier League fixtures.

They will be published at 9am on Tuesday 18 June when you can start plotting your plans to follow the team next season.

The 2024/25 season will consist of 33 weekends, four midweek rounds of matches and one Bank Holiday match week.

The campaign will kick off on 17 August 2024, 90 days after the 2023/24 Premier League concluded on 19 May.

The final match round of the 2024/25 season will be played on 25 May 2025, when all games will kick off simultaneously as usual.

In keeping with previous commitments made to clubs to address the congested schedule across Christmas and New Year, arrangements will be made to allow more rest time over three of the festive match rounds, with no club playing within 60 hours of another match. There will be no fixtures on 24 December 2024.

The mid-season break has also been removed from the calendar to allow a mid-August start date for the Premier League.

This longer summer break allows all Premier League clubs to be better able to ensure that players get a consecutive three-week break in the summer.

This takes into account expert advice from medical and technical departments, which values a longer period of complete rest in the summer rather than a short break in the winter.

This will be Albion’s eighth season in the Premier League, and we will be looking for our fourth successive opening-day win having beaten Burnley 2-1, Manchester United 2-1 and Luton Town 4-1 in the past three first games of the season.

We lost our first two opening-day games before beating Watford 3-0 in the first match of the 2019/20 campaign.

We have played three times at home and four away matches on the opening day of Premier League campaigns.
